About This Event

As we mark the first anniversary of Hamas' attack on Israel and Israel's subsequent invasion of Gaza, the devastating human toll is impossible to ignore. Calls for a ceasefire to address civilian casualties, rising hunger, polio outbreaks, and hostage rescues have intensified. What are the prospects for a sustainable ceasefire? How has the conflict shifted regional dynamics, especially between Israel, Arab states, and Iran? Is a political solution possible, and what role should the US, major Arab powers, and the international community play in addressing the humanitarian crisis and pursuing long-term peace? Join us as Shai Feldman, Abdel Monem Said Aly, and Khalil Shikaki talk with Council CEO Ivo Daalder about the war's far-reaching implications and explore potential paths forward.
