About This Event

Learn more about the Council’s Emerging Leaders Program and the benefits to professional and personal growth.

Every year the Chicago Council on Global Affairs selects a class of approximately 20 participants from across Chicago's business, cultural, civic, and academic sectors to learn how to think globally and lead locally. The program deepens participant fluency in global affairs, enhances their capacity to contribute to policymaking, and finetunes their global leadership skills.

Between the ages of 35 to 45, Emerging Leaders are highly accomplished in their careers, with a strong enthusiasm for international affairs and an active commitment to community engagement. The Council seeks exceptional leaders reflective of Chicago’s rich diversity.

Please reach out to Ariel Schwartz, Director of the Emerging Leaders Program, at aschwartz@globalaffairs.org with any questions.
