On Tuesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will annex part of the Jordan Valley if he stays in power after elections on September 17, 2019. The decision comes as tensions with Hezbollah in Lebanon and with Iran-backed militias in Syria flare-up. Seth J.
