Sara Miller Acosta

Sara Miller Acosta joined the Chicago Council on Global Affairs in October 2024. She spent her professional career working with organizations that lift individuals and serve our communities. Before the Council, she served in increasingly responsible positions in higher education at The Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, Saint Xavier University, DePaul University, and most recently at Dominican University, where she served as Vice President of University Advancement for five and a half years. Acosta received a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Loyola University of Chicago and has taken coursework towards a Master’s degree at DePaul.
