Marty O'Connell

Marty O’Connell joined the Council in 2022 and is currently the digital marketing officer. In this role, he works with the marketing and communications team to promote events, build audiences for original digital programming and content, and support fundraising efforts. Most recently, he served as a marketing specialist at D&S Communications, and before that, he worked in radio promotions for stations like 93XRT, 101WKQX, 97.9 The Loop, and WLS-AM/FM. O'Connell graduated from DePaul University with a BA in communication and media studies and minors in music business and journalism. During his time at DePaul, he served as general manager, music director, and a DJ at Radio DePaul and as a journalist for two student publications.
